Privacy Policy for GameStar
Effective Date: September 28, 2026
App Name: GameStar
Developer: Alfaz
Package Name: com.gamestar.fpsbooster
This Privacy Policy explains how GameStar ("GameStar", "we", "us", or "our") accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the GameStar Android application.
By using GameStar, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. About GameStar
GameStar is an Android utility application designed to provide gaming-related tools, graphics/configuration features, FPS-related functionality, device information, game configuration utilities, notifications, optional advertising, and premium features.
GameStar is created by Alfaz.
GameStar does not require users to create an account or provide their name, email address, phone number, contacts, or other direct identity information in order to use the application's core functionality.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use and the third-party services enabled in the application, GameStar and its service providers may process the following categories of information.
2.1 Device and Technical Information
GameStar may access technical information available on the device, including:
Android operating system version;
device manufacturer/brand;
device model;
screen resolution and display characteristics;
application version;
network/connectivity status;
technical information required for application functionality;
advertising/device identifiers made available through integrated advertising SDKs.
Some device information is displayed locally inside GameStar's device-information features.
GameStar does not intentionally collect precise GPS location information.
2.2 Android Advertising ID and Advertising Identifiers
GameStar integrates third-party advertising SDKs, including:
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob; and
AppLovin MAX.
These advertising SDKs may process advertising identifiers, device identifiers, IP address, advertising-related information, app interactions, diagnostic information, and other technical information for purposes such as advertising delivery, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and security.
The availability and processing of advertising identifiers may depend on the user's Android settings, applicable consent choices, the advertising SDK configuration, and the advertising partners used at the time.
Google's documentation states that its Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect information such as IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
AppLovin's MAX documentation also states that its Android SDK collects Google Advertising ID and requires developers to implement applicable privacy/consent controls.
2.3 Android ID for Premium Verification
GameStar uses the Android system's ANDROID_ID as a device-level identifier for premium entitlement verification.
The Android ID is used to:
associate a premium purchase with the relevant application installation/device;
check premium entitlement status;
help prevent unauthorized reuse of premium access; and
allow the GameStar backend to return the applicable premium status.
The Android ID is sent to the GameStar backend when premium status needs to be checked or a premium purchase needs to be recorded.
GameStar does not use the Android ID to determine a user's real-world identity.
2.4 Google Play Purchase Information
If you purchase a premium product through Google Play Billing, GameStar may process information associated with that transaction, including:
Google Play product ID;
purchase token;
purchase-related timestamps or entitlement information available to the application; and
the Android ID used for premium entitlement association.
The purchase token and relevant purchase information may be sent to the GameStar backend for purchase verification and premium entitlement management.
Google Play Billing documentation recommends sending purchase tokens to a backend for verification and maintaining records necessary to validate purchases.
GameStar does not receive or store your full credit/debit card number through the application. Payment processing is handled by Google Play according to Google's applicable terms and policies.
2.5 Firebase Cloud Messaging
GameStar uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver application notifications.
FCM may process information required to identify an application installation and deliver notifications, including Firebase installation-related identifiers and technical/service information.
GameStar subscribes installations to the application's notification topic so that GameStar can send general application notifications.
GameStar's current implementation does not intentionally send the FCM registration token to the GameStar custom backend for storage.
Firebase states that Firebase Cloud Messaging uses Firebase Installation IDs to determine which devices should receive messages.
2.6 Notification Content
If notifications are enabled, GameStar may display notifications containing information such as:
announcement titles;
announcement text;
optional images;
optional action buttons; and
links supplied by GameStar's notification service.
Notification images may be downloaded from a remote URL in order to display the notification correctly.
You can control notification permission through Android system settings.
3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
Based on the current GameStar application implementation, GameStar does not intentionally request or collect the following permissions/data for its core functionality:
precise GPS location;
camera;
microphone;
contacts/address book;
SMS messages;
call logs;
phone number;
health information;
biometric information;
passwords;
government identification numbers;
financial account credentials;
email address for account registration;
user-generated private messages;
browsing history.
The application does not currently provide a traditional user-account registration or login system.
Some third-party SDKs integrated into the application may independently process technical or advertising information as described elsewhere in this policy.
4. Advertising and Third-Party Advertising Services
GameStar may display advertisements through third-party advertising platforms.
The application currently integrates:
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
Google Mobile Ads may provide advertising formats such as:
banner ads;
native ads;
interstitial ads;
rewarded ads;
rewarded interstitial ads; and
app-open ads.
The exact advertising formats and placements can be controlled by GameStar's remote configuration and may change over time.
Google Mobile Ads may process IP address, advertising/device identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, and related information for advertising, analytics, measurement, and fraud-prevention purposes.
AppLovin MAX
GameStar also integrates the AppLovin MAX SDK.
AppLovin may process device and advertising information for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related services.
AppLovin requires publishers to correctly implement applicable consent and privacy settings before the SDK is initialized or used.
Advertising Partners
Depending on the configuration of the advertising SDKs and any mediation/network configuration enabled by the developer, advertisements may be supplied by third-party advertising partners.
Those third parties may independently process information according to their own privacy policies.
Users should review the privacy policies of Google, AppLovin, and applicable advertising partners for additional information about their data practices.
5. Purposes of Data Processing
Information processed by GameStar and its service providers may be used for the following purposes:
providing the application's functionality;
loading and displaying advertisements;
measuring advertising performance;
preventing advertising fraud and abuse;
maintaining application security;
verifying premium purchases;
managing premium entitlements;
delivering push notifications;
downloading application configuration;
downloading game-related configuration or resource files;
providing application updates and announcements;
diagnosing technical problems;
maintaining and improving the application;
preventing unauthorized use of premium features; and
complying with applicable legal obligations.
GameStar does not sell a user's personal information as a standalone commercial product.
6. GameStar Backend / Remote Services
GameStar communicates with a developer-controlled remote backend to retrieve certain application configuration and service information.
The backend may provide:
advertising configuration;
application configuration;
game configuration;
update information;
social links;
premium plan information;
premium entitlement status; and
other information necessary for the application's functionality.
For premium verification, the backend may receive:
Android ID;
Google Play product ID; and
Google Play purchase token.
GameStar's current API endpoint uses HTTPS for communication.
7. Local Storage
GameStar stores certain information locally on the device using Android application storage mechanisms.
This may include:
application settings;
selected theme/configuration;
notification-related preferences;
premium entitlement state;
purchase-related local state;
update acknowledgement state; and
other preferences necessary for application functionality.
Some downloaded configuration/resource files may also be stored in application-specific storage or designated download/configuration directories.
This information is primarily used to maintain application state and provide the requested features.
8. Shizuku and Advanced Device Functions
GameStar integrates the Shizuku API to provide certain advanced Android/game configuration functionality.
Shizuku is used as a mechanism for performing operations that require elevated Android service access when the user explicitly enables and grants the relevant Shizuku permission.
GameStar does not use Shizuku as a mechanism to secretly monitor the user's device.
The availability of Shizuku-powered functionality depends on the user's device, Android version, Shizuku installation/service state, and permissions granted by the user.
9. Files and Game Configuration
Some GameStar features download, extract, modify, or generate game-related configuration/resource files.
These operations may involve:
downloading configuration archives;
extracting ZIP files;
creating configuration files;
storing game-related resources;
generating .ini or similar configuration files; and
applying user-selected configuration changes.
These files are used to provide the application's gaming utility functions.
GameStar does not intentionally upload the private contents of unrelated personal files to its servers.
10. Third-Party Services
GameStar uses third-party services and SDKs that may process information independently of GameStar.
These services include:
Google Mobile Ads / Google AdMob
Used for advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and related advertising services.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Used to deliver push notifications.
Google Play Billing
Used to process in-app purchases and subscriptions/premium products.
AppLovin MAX
Used for advertising and advertising mediation.
Shizuku
Used to provide certain advanced Android operations when enabled by the user.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.
11. Data Sharing
GameStar may share or transmit information with service providers when necessary to provide application functionality.
Potential recipients include:
Google and Google Mobile Ads;
Firebase;
Google Play Billing;
AppLovin and its advertising/mediation partners;
the GameStar developer-controlled backend; and
other technical service providers required to operate application functionality.
The categories of information shared may include technical information, advertising identifiers, IP address, advertising interaction information, Firebase installation information, and premium transaction information, depending on the service involved.
GameStar does not intentionally sell personal information to data brokers.
12. Data Security
GameStar uses reasonable technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information being processed.
Examples include:
HTTPS/TLS connections for the GameStar remote API;
Android application sandboxing;
Google Play Billing for payment processing;
third-party provider security controls;
limited use of server-side purchase information; and
restricting access to information to purposes necessary for application operation.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Data Retention
Local Data
Information stored locally by GameStar generally remains on the device until:
the user clears the application's data;
the relevant setting or data is removed by the application;
the user uninstalls the application; or
the information is otherwise no longer required.
Premium and Backend Data
Premium verification information, including device identifiers and purchase-related records, may be retained by the GameStar backend for as long as reasonably necessary to:
verify purchases;
maintain premium entitlements;
prevent fraud or abuse;
resolve purchase disputes;
maintain accounting/operational records; or
comply with legal obligations.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, it should be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable legal and operational requirements.
Third-Party Services
Third-party services such as Google, Firebase, and AppLovin may retain information according to their respective policies and contractual/legal requirements.
14. Account Deletion
GameStar currently does not require users to create a GameStar account or login account.
Because there is currently no traditional GameStar user account, there is no in-app "Delete Account" function for a GameStar account.
Users may remove locally stored GameStar application data by using Android's application settings or by uninstalling the application.
Certain third-party service records, advertising records, Firebase installation records, and Google Play purchase records are managed by the relevant service providers and may be subject to their own deletion mechanisms and retention policies.
15. Children's Privacy
GameStar is not designed specifically for children.
The application does not knowingly request children's names, contact information, precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, or similar sensitive information.
If you are under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, you should use the application only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
GameStar does not knowingly use the AppLovin service in connection with users who qualify as children under applicable law.
If GameStar's target audience or advertising configuration changes to include children, the application will be reviewed and configured to comply with applicable Google Play Families requirements, children's privacy laws, and applicable advertising SDK restrictions.
Google Play requires additional safeguards for apps whose target audience includes children, including restrictions on identifiers and advertising.
16. Personalized Advertising and Consent
Advertising providers may use identifiers and other technical information to provide advertising and measure advertising performance.
Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out mechanism, GameStar intends to respect applicable privacy requirements and advertising-platform controls.
Users may also have controls available through Android and advertising-provider settings to manage advertising identifiers and personalization.
The availability of personalized advertising, non-personalized advertising, limited advertising, and consent controls may vary by region and by the configuration of the advertising services.
17. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include:
the right to know what personal information is processed;
the right to request access to personal information;
the right to request correction of inaccurate information;
the right to request deletion where legally applicable;
the right to object to or restrict certain processing;
the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
the right to opt out of certain forms of targeted advertising or sale/sharing where applicable; and
the right to lodge a complaint with an applicable data protection authority.
Because GameStar does not currently require a traditional user account, many ordinary account-management functions are not applicable.
For privacy-related requests, contact the developer using the privacy contact information provided below.
18. International Data Processing
GameStar and its third-party service providers may process information on servers located in countries other than the country where you live.
For example, Google/Firebase services may process information on Google's global infrastructure, subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy framework.
Firebase states that many Firebase services operate on global Google infrastructure and that processing locations can vary by service.
Where required, appropriate legal mechanisms or safeguards may apply to international data transfers.
19. Third-Party Links
GameStar may display or provide links to external websites, social-media pages, tutorials, or other third-party services.
GameStar is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of external websites.
You should review the privacy policy of any third-party website before providing personal information.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
application functionality changes;
new SDKs or third-party services are added;
advertising providers change;
data practices change;
legal requirements change; or
security or operational practices are updated.
